Baker Creek to Morants Curve - Return
Track skiing TS2
According to Chuck from Skier Roger's blog, this section is now packed and trackset. Mostly level except a short hill to highway at Morant's curve. Could be some twigs because this is not a summer trail. This tour is only snowmobile packed around the time of this loppet. Please specify if meeting at Valley Ridge or Trail head. Trailhead is Baker Creek Day Use Area across from and on the opposite side of the creek from the Baker Creek Cabins.

Heli in Feb 17am, out Feb 21am, subject to weather delays. 4 days in avi terrain. Evacuations from outside the hut are paid for by BC Search and Rescue. Helis can't fly at night or in bad visibility. If you need to leave the lodge early for any reason expect to pay $2500 or more. Insurance can cover Medi evac. Minimum group size 3 for outings from hut. Local avalanche hazard below treeline too.
