Despite the gloomy beginnings in the parking lot, we ended up hiking in sunshine all day. It was cool at the trailhead and there were signs in the plants of upcoming fall.

After a relaxing lunch at the top, we headed back down, arriving at the cars about 3:15. (14.5 km, 500 m)
