With 9 coordinators on this hike, I think that most participants felt secure in the fact that we weren’t going to get lost. It turned out to be a beautiful day. While we all had extra clothing layers on at the beginning, we were soon shedding layers in the bright, hot sun.

The snow , although about 10 cm. deep, was not packed into ice, and even tractions devices were not necessary anywhere.
Sunny Lunch
After enjoying a lengthy lunch stop at the West Lookout, we were back at the cars by 2 PM.
