The rain (at lower elevation) and snow and wind (at higher) drove us into Kananaskis Village for coffee. We then decided to hike a 10 km loop near the village on the Terrace, Kovach and Ribbon Creek trails. There was at least 20 cm of snow at the high point but very little at Ribbon Creek parking area.

OK, it might be time to stop thinking about hiking/scrambling in the mountains.
