With temperatures just above freezing, we had a nice day for a hike. As usual, though, the portions of the trails along the valley floor were solid ice. Once we gained a little elevation, the trails became bare and dry and spikes were (mostly) removed. We made good time to Baruchs’ Corner for lunch and arrived just before noon.

After a relaxing, conversation filled lunch we descended Sugar Mama down to the valley, with a tea break in the sun part way down.

Once in the valley, we had to re-spike and we returned to the cars about 2:30.
