We had a cool breeze above treeline but no rain, although we could see a shower to the northwest.

The group set off from the trailhead shortly after 10am.  We took the newest post-flood connector to the main trail which mostly follows an old cutline and is uphill in both directions!  Upon reaching treeline we stopped for a snack / rest break before bundling up for the open ridge to the summit.  We managed to be mostly out of the wind on the east side of the old lookout building and had our lunch in the sun soaking up the views.  A few of this group had never been up Mt Burke and were amazed at the views.

Back in the city just before 5pm, seven of the group elected to go for electrolyte and protein replenishment to complete the day!  Thanks all for a great day - Dave.
