The trip was a walk back to winter.  After a cool sunny start, we reached the previous night's snowfall around 1750 meters. There was a profusion of calypso orchids at lower elevations.

From Baldy Pass on up we followed the tracks of an earlier group which made climbing easier but had to be careful in the greasy wet snow.  Conditions at the summit were cloudy, cool and windy so after donning more clothing and taking a few photos we decided to drop down to tree line before stopping for lunch.

Happy we're here

The day ended in bright  sun with great views toward Bogart and Sparrowhawk.
