Base Camp and Mt Root
Base camp for Old Goats Mt Fairweather expedition in May 2006, with Mt Root behind. The Cessana plane landed on the glacier in the vicinity of the tracks within 100 metres of camp. Mt Root (12,887 ft) was a secondary objective of the trip, but because of lack of time due to much inclement weather, was never attempted.
