Gunnery ck./Grass pass/Fir point ridge Off-Trail hike on 22-Oct-2026

After completing the short car shuttle we were on the trail well past 10. At a D minus pace we arrived at Gunnery pass in about one hour. From there we had a short climb to the high point of the unnamed ridge east of the Gunnery creek valley and then down to Grass pass. Of course there was another climb to our lunch spot. Good views but a bit hazy. Back via the ridge between Fir creek and Pack coulee.
