Cox Hill Trail hike on 16-Oct-2026

Participants: We started out in jackets and mittens, first stop in 10 minutes was to delayer a little, it was getting warm already. A very pleasant walk through the trees on a nice dirt path. We were prepared for snow, many thanks to David who sent me some pictures from a hike a few days before us.

On with the microspikes as we continued up to the top of Cox Hill. A little windy at the top and time to layer up again. Gusts of wind told us to tag the top of the hill then head back down to shelter for a well deserved lunch.

. We found a sunny lookout for lunch, conversation and relaxing.
