Eagle Hill and Deer Ridge Trail hike on 27-Sep-2026

While it's not the most exciting hike, this met my criteria of being easy, short, close to the city, and full of aspens. The colours weren't as brilliant as in some years, but it was still wonderful walking through the yellow trees and smelling the aroma of the leaves. The three of us had a great time conversing on a wide variety of subjects, and being back at the car by 1:30 allowed for other afternoon activities.
