Rummel ridge (Via Rummel lake) Off-Trail hike on 9-Sep-2026
Contrary to the forecast we had a cool and overcast day. Not until the afternoon the sun made a very welcome appearance. After a break at the lake we had an easy bushwhack on the way to the ridge. In about one hour we were having lunch in the shelter of the stunted trees that grow in the summit area. Another easy forest walk and we picked up the trail. Back at the cars at 4pm.
