Takakkaw Peak Scramble on 19-Aug-2026

On August 19th we scrambled Takakkaw Peak. It was moderate-difficult scrambling with some travel over moraine features. Routefinding is necessary on the ridge and on the decent. Approximately 1400m and 20km. There is no water available on the ridge itself, but water from snowmelt is present this year on the far side of the ridge.
