Takakkaw Peak Scramble on 19-Aug-2026

On August 19th we scrambled Takakkaw Peak. It was moderate-difficult scrambling with some travel over moraine features. Routefinding is necessary on the ridge and on the decent. Approximately 12 hours, 1400 m and 20 km. There is no water available on the ridge itself, but water from snowmelt is present this year on the far side of the ridge.
