Mt Baldy 369528 Scramble on 18-Aug-2026

We started out just before 9 am with pleasant temperature and tolerable smoke. Everyone scrambled over the first bump and the downclimb crux. At the second bump some went over the top and some took the mid bump bypass. We reached the summit in good time and had a pleasant lunch. On the descent of the upper hump, I took the lower bypass while the rest took the mid bump bypass. The lower bypass was quite decent. At the lower bump we all took the bypass. Although doable it was not easy and i wouldn't recommend it. Thanks to everyone for joining me on another great day in the mountains.
