Mt Lipsett 470014 Trail hike on 15-Jul-2026

After a bit of mucking around trying to avoid the always present boggy section low down, a relaxed walk on the old road led to lunch at treeline under increasingly grey clouds, as per the forecast. Unlike most predictions, the sun returned with no need for raingear as we continued on to the summit, enjoying an abundance of wildflowers and great hiking weather. Thanks everyone!
