Hailstone Butte, Sentinel Peak Off-Trail hike on 4-Jul-2026
A little drive on a dusty road and we are ready.
Start of hike, the warm up.
The trail turns steep taking us to the traverse, then the little scramble to Hailstone ridge.

Once on the ridge, and a look about, off again to open meadows, flowers of plenty, as we make our way to the ridge taking us to Sentinel Peak.

All in all a wonderful day was had, warm, sunny mostly and just fun!! I thank all for joining in this hike.
