Road cycle : Highwood Pass from Highwood House Road bike on 13-Jun-20

We had a fine day for this classic ride.
There had to be at least a couple of hundred people riding this fine weekend day, which just made it more like a party!
We were accompanied by Cathy's friend Dave. And Dave's friend Maulin on the way up, he was riding through to Stoney Nakoda.
Started at 9:45, still a little cool about 9 C, but sunny. We ended up delayering pretty soon.

It remained pretty sunny until we were close to the Pass. Reach the pass by 12:45 with a short break at Lineham and a longer one at Lipset.

Took about 40 minutes at/around the summit.

Looked around a few times for Ivan's group who were coming from the north.

It was quite overcast for most of the return, and a little cold when riding at speed.
Back at the cars around 3:15.

Roughly 76 km, 750 m ascent. 5 1/2 hrs.
