Belmore Browne Off-Trail hike on 11-Jun-2026

Similar to last Sunday's hike, this trip felt like a gift: rain showers in the near distance but mostly sunshine where we were. It was new for two of us (including the coordinator) and wow, was it ever a nice early season hike. The walk to Belmore Browne was snow-free, but from that summit we could see that there was too much snow to safely ascend Boundary Peak. No big loss: we carried on to the next high point for lunch and then went up the first section of the route to Tiara. Almost 10 km/800m in 5.5 hours.
Participants: Carl, Jane, Ingrid, Deborah, Gord
