Moose Mtn L/O trail Trail hike on 28-May-2026

Always a favourite early-season conditioning hike. We enjoyed excellent hiking conditions (not too hot) but sadly shrouded views due to the humidity and clouds. But, I was thrilled by the flowers (crocus and shooting star in the lower meadows, and many saxifrage in the alpine with draba and smelowskia just starting) as well as by the wide variety of birds. The kilometres passed quickly with lively conversation and we were back at the cars in under 4.5 hours.
Participants: Gary, Susan, Carl, John, Ingrid, Gord (second trip with the Ramblers - welcome!)
