Backcountry Emergencies course Course on 9-May-2026

Cross Conservation Area was a good location for this course with Belvedere House as an indoor classroom and the fair weather allowed some outdoor activities. As with previous courses from Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine, our instructor Kelly was very knowledgeable and thorough. For some like your scribe who hadn't taken a refresher for a few years it was helpful to be brought up to date on changes in procedures, new ways of determining priorities and making diagnoses of an emergency situation.

Participants: Ron (scribe, photos), Bill (photo), Barbara, Danielle (coordinator), Mike, Carl, Jane, Vi, Lenard, Roy, Deborah, Laura, Marcus, Heather, Judy, John, Lilianne.
