Road cycle: Sheep winter gate to Bluerock Trail hike on 30-Apr-2026

We headed off from the gate at about 10 am under perfect conditions under a sunny blue sky and no wind. The road was completely dry and there was little snow visible in the trees on either side. We passed two large groups of sheep that showed little interest in us and seemed very content lazing in the sun. We continued on to the end of the road and returned to Sheep Falls for a very leisurely lunch and an uneventful cruise back. Total distance was 38 km with an altitude gain of 410m.
