Participants: Christine, Jim, GregThree of us had a wonderful start to Skogan Pass. Snow conditions were excellent and the track was really exceptional. We turned around a few metres from the summit as the wind was really strong and the first part of the descent was wonderful until about 2 pm when the snow became mushy (stop and go) as the temperature climbed. About halfway down, we had to snowplow (with difficulty and pain) to get back to the carpark. Thanks to Greg and Jim for being such good company.
