Kananaskis Lakes Ski Trails: Blueberry Hill Track skiing on 27-Jan-20
It was pretty much a perfect blue sky and blue wax day to ski Blueberry, with excellent, recently trackset conditions- firm and fast- but not too fast! We opted for Fox Creek on the return, rather than back over the powerline hump, and enjoyed better than usual tracks there too, albeit with the occasional ski-grabbing cone. And as always on such a fine day, we stopped to several times to take advantage of the January sun. Thanks everyone!
A glorious morning with great conditions!
Bundled up for tea, and views much improved by some tree clearing. The descent was fast, but easygoing in "edgeable" snow.
