All of the great ski conditions had been obliterated by rain, so it was back to hiking. Fortunately for me, Sim and Damian were not only willing to brave the 80-100kph winds, but also wanted to extend the day to get in as much distance as possible. There were surprisingly only a few trees recently downed, but it was at times a bit unnerving travelling through the wildly swaying forest. Lots of sunshine and very few people. We did a big loop of Fullerton/Bobcat/Strange Brew/Boundary/Snagmore, approximately 19 km/580m in less than 5 hours.
