As we continue to enjoy a relatively dry and mild autumn, I wanted a simple trail hike without complications, so settled on this popular trip near to Calgary. It did not disappoint. The sun shone, the wind was mild, the company great and we even got some very reasonable views of Barrier Lake and the Bow Valley near Exshaw during our 30 minute lunch stop.
Approx 12km with 630m elevation gain in a little over 5 hours car to car.A bit slippery in places but micro-spikes not used by most.
Thanks everyone for joining me C, S & P David and for the conversations. Other participants, Jeannette, Clifton, Krzysztof, John
