We had a lovely day in a beautiful area, travelling through Picklejar Pass to the N, SE, and SW Mist Hills. Our efforts on the very steep slopes onto and off of each hill were rewarded with long sections of open ridge walking (which is of course why we were there). The larches were deep gold and starting to lose their needles. We had breaks on all 3 hills in warm sun and it was extremely difficult to get up and keep going… I could easily have spent a couple of hours lying on the slopes enjoying the good conversations that we were having. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful day! 13 km/1000m.
