Participants:
We set off at about 9:45 am under a cloudless blue sky with not a breath of wind. Our group of 12 headed up the trail at a nice relaxed pace allowing plenty of time to take in our surroundings, arriving at the Piggy Plus col at around 12:30 pm. The views were amazing, and many photos were taken with the French Glacier in the background. After a very leisurely lunch, we headed down to our next viewpoint overlooking the Roberson Glacier. Again, the views were excellent, and it was a while before we reluctantly started the journey down through the larches, which were just beginning to turn golden. The total distance traveled 14.3 km with an elevation gain of 676 m. Thanks to: Gary, Janice, Cathy, Jenny, Lenard, Cristina, Cheryl, Pat, Nancy, Kar for coming out to join me on a particularly beautiful day. John c/s
