Snow Peak 139256 Off-Trail hike on 16-Sep-2025

We had a great day at Snow Peak and Burstall Pass, enjoying the slightly hazy views from the top followed by soul-satisfying wandering through the beautiful landscape after descending from the peak. A bonus was that we saw only 4 people in the morning down by the glacier flats, and then no one else all day. 20.5 km/1150m in about 8 hours. Thanks to Susan and Tina for photos - there were so many good ones that I couldn't decide what to include!
