Grizzly Ridge 414055 traverse Off-Trail hike on 13-Sep-2025
Starting at the civilized hour of 10 am from the brand new Highwood parking lot we soon were walking among the larches. Still summer green but a few already turning. We made it to the summit in 2 hours and 30 minutes (relaxed pace) ,where we had our lunch before continuing south along the ridge.After a steep descent at the ridge end we had no trouble picking up the trail that takes you close to Lippset picnic area. Back at the cars at 4 pm.
