Loop of peaks northeast of Mt Glasgow Scramble on 12-Sep-2025
We needed to be back in Calgary by 4:30 pm on this day, so we were looking for a fairly short trip with not too long a drive, and the Garriochmill Peak loop fit the bill very nicely. We left the parking lot at 8:00 am, arrived at the north outlier of Glasgow at 10:45 am, and arrived at the summit of Garriochmill at 12:00 noon. We spent a lovely half hour on the summit of Garriochmill, from which we saw both a bald eagle and a golden eagle on their way south. We arrived back at the parking lot at 3:30 pm, so mission accomplished. Thanks very much to Sim and Pam for joining me Jack on another beautiful day in the mountains.
