Set off at 10 am under clear blue skies, sunshine and no wind. We arrived at the summit of Little Arethusa around 12 pm, and after a leisurely lunch headed down via the southern side of the cirque, getting back to the vehicles at around 2:30 pm. Wildlife sightings included the resident herd of sheep and some picas preparing for winter. The trail was very quiet; however, workmen were busy installing portable toilets at the parking area in preparation for the usual surge of fall visitors. Thanks to Jenny and Cyril for joining me.
