Crystal Ridge from Helen Lake PL Off-Trail hike on 25-Aug-2025
After a brief walk on the Helen lake trail we took off into the forest towards the col at the northern end of Crystal ridge. Somehow the group got separated into two small groups but we all got reunited just below the col. Skipping peak #1 we had a long rest on peak #2. Afterwards it was a question of following the ridge to the south over peak #3 and down to another col just before the fourth peak. From there we made a beeline to intersect the main trail. Back at the very full parking lot around 3:30
