We had a perfect hiking day to the beautiful Picklejar Lakes. Temperatures were cool, but warm enough to go without jackets for most of the day. This was the first time going to this location for some of the group. The trail is in very good condition. We met at Lantern Creek parking around 9:30 and had lots of parking available. There were quite a few people on the trail, many with fishing and sometimes camping gear.
We had a snack break at the 1st lake, then proceeded past the 2nd lake and had lunch between the 3rd and 4th lakes.
There were few flowers, but lots of mushrooms of varying sizes and types.
