A lovely day walking in the shady woods. We passed by the old trailhead to Guinns pass and headed on to Lillian Lake (where the fish were jumping) for a short rest and snack break.

Then up the rock slope to Galatea lake and eventually on to the new trail to Guinns pass, much improved over the old one. A much deserved rest and lunch at the top of the pass

And what goes up must eventually come down, so we headed back to Lillian Lake and the and the shady woods.

The first Ramblers arriving back to the parking lot were greeted by the sight of a black bear ambling along the opposite side of the road.
