James Walker Creek to northeast cirque Off-Trail hike on 4-Jul-2025
It was a crisp and clear morning when we left the empty parking lot shortly after 9. The boring walk in the old roads went fast and soon we had our first break by the shore of serene J.W lake. At a no rush pace we made it to our lunch spot between the second and third lake where we stayed for a long rest. Many thanks to Kevin for showing us the alternative return route that intersects the main path close to J.W lake. After another siesta break we just retraced our steps finishing around 3:30.
