Three of us "seasoned" Ramblers enjoyed a good walk up Eagle Hill and along Deer Ridge in just over 6 hours car to car. While there were some wet patches of trail and even a few small patches of snow, it was nothing serious and no micro-spikes were used. The trail was easy to follow despite a few blown down trees. We saw bear prints, several grouse, a few deer but no humans or other animals. The temperature varied from +5c at start to +13c at the finish, warm enough to be mostly jacket free except occasionally in the wind. Conversation flowed. My GPS read 15.7 km and 666m elevation gain.
