Rock Point Ridge via Prairie Creek Off-Trail hike on 26-Apr-2025

This isn't a hike that you would ever do in summer, but the temperature made it feel like that's exactly what we were doing. The long walk in both directions was enjoyable thanks to the excellent company, and the off-trail parts were good spring training. The forest and warm ground smelled amazing! After our peaceful hike, it was a bit of a shock arriving back at the road to many dozens of cars and people.
