After an uneventful walk on the connector trail and three creek crossings we started the steep climb of the ridge proper. A bare trail at the beginning with more snow as we went higher but always on a well beaten path. As not everyone was keen on going all the way to the false summit we decided to stop and have lunch on a nice flat rocky area before returning the way we came.
