Three of us rode up gondola and Standish chairlift. Ski down south facing slope was interesting on hard crust. Vrossed Rock Isle Lake and found north facing slopes had hard crust which was sometimes breakable.
So went for walk on skins on ridgeline south of Rock Isle Lake and also checking out some steep difficult ski runs for next season. Then back in bounds and green run to village. Lunched inside where we kept meeting friends doing a resort ski day.
Then ride out on gondola.
5.7 km, 150 meters up, 390 meters down, 2 hours on skis.
Nice temperatures, sharp cold wind and snow squall that deposted up to 13 mm of snow in sheltered spots.
