We flew into 15cm of new snow on a thin (HS 135 cm) but stable snow pack . Faceted 4 finger snow below the lodge and some wind slab in the alpine. 10 cm new snow mid week gave a needed refresh . Poor vis for the first few days meant that we trashed all the gladed runs below the lodge. The weak snow pack ( boot pen 120 cm ) provided entertainment for us all. Whether it was a sudden submarine on the descent with a fall, or the ballerina moves while skinning up and finding China with the one boot not on a ski, it was a challenge. When it finally cleared we went for the alpine. For some strange reason everyone took pics on the bluebird days. It was a great group, food was excellent . Looking forward to next year. Enough with the verbal diarrhea , the photos tell the true story.
