sunshine ride Gondola ride Standish slack country Off-Trail skiing on

Bluebird day -5C no wind . Ski pen 20 cm. Boot pen to ground up to 80 cm. Absolutely no sign of avi instability. One shark nibble. Open creek drainages below treeline which added interest to the skiing. The snow was supportive and fast, with extremely large surface hoar in the alpine. The snow sang us a little tune as we cranked our turns.

We did 3 laps down to Larix and grizzly lakes from the south end of twin Cairns . The glades had one steep roll and the best lines through the tight trees were the creek drainages . I found the burn above grizzly to be a little tight and a little steep.
