Lots of new snow. Road to parking lot not ploughed on arrival, but done on return. Temperature was -4C at start and cloudy.
Skier track all the way to warden cabin. Fresh tracks to Elizabeth Parker hut, but no fresh tracks from Elizabeth Parker Hut trail to Relais cabin, so we must have been the first day trippers since the new snowfall to go to the cabin. Had lunch at Relais cabin then went over to view the lake. No tracks across the lake.
Return trip was fairly fast but could use powder snow beside track to reduce speed. Off-trail travel appears to be challenging where no packing has occurred.
It appeared the section from the PL to picnic table had been packed by Parks? on our return. All in all, a nice day with new snow and gradual clearing of the sky in the afternoon. Sorry, no photos.
