Always a favorite for the shoulder season the short hike to Mt. Hoffman gives good views with not too much effort. More snow than expected,from a couple of inches at the start to boot deep in the forest and specially in the offtrail part of the trip , making the steep descent a bit tricky. Four hours and fourty minutes total time including lunch and breaks.
