Road bike; 1A hwy from Banff to Castle Junction Trail hike on 4-Sep-2

After leaving the clouds of Calgary behind we started our trip under sunny skies in Banff albeit with cool temperature. The clear air made for great mountain views and the warming air made for successive de-layering en route. A leisurely lunch was enjoyed at Castle Junction before an uneventful return to Banff by about 2:30. Very little wildlife was seen, a deer and a squirrel - maybe the bears are in the alpine at the moment.

The great group of participants: Garry, Joe, Ron C/S/P, Barbara, Jim, Gary, Colleen. Two on ebikes and 5 pedal only.
