Rummel ridge via Rummel lake Off-Trail hike on 29-Aug-2024

I was expecting some snow but not so much, a few times we had to rely on GPS to make sure we still were on the trail. It was slow going all the way to the lake , by the time we arrived our enthusiasm for continuing to the ridge , a one hour moderte bushwhack in good conditions, had waned considerably. After a democratic consultation it was decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings and leave the ridge for another day.
