twin summits 325537 SE of Heart Mtn via Heart Mtn Scramble on 4-Jul-2

Four summits, five adventurous scramblers and perfect weather. We pretty much had Heart to ourselves on the ascent and enjoyed the nice rock it is known for. From Grant MacEwan, it was a relaxing wander over to the crux downclimb. This section is not to be taken lightly as the start is somewhat overhanging, so you can't fully see what's below. I had the advantage of having done it twice before so knew the rock was solid and there were good steps below the overhang. Several other reports, though, had indicated that there were alternate routes, so some of the group investigated these coming to the conclusion that none were better. In the end, four took the downclimb, and two backtracked toward Grant MacEwan to take the longer bypass route. They were fast and we all made to the towers in time for a slightly late lunch. Thanks so much to Sim,Alda,Damian,Simon and Maryse for joining, and taking the time to explore the area.
