Heart Mtn Horseshoe loop (the weekday edition) Scramble on 4-Jun-2024

The day started with a Rambler party on Valley Ridge Drive, as John's group were also carpooling there at the same time. From there, thanks to new Rambler, Randall, 5 of us squeezed into his SUV and we headed off hoping for another day of fun scrambling after a long winter. The mountain was snowfree in all the scrambling areas, and we enjoyed some fun, alternate routes! After Grant MacEwan Peak the wind became more “exhillarating” and there were times when we had to brace ourselves before moving on, but the weather improved to summer sunshine once we were back in treeline.

Thanks for a fast and fun day: Sim,Alda,Jack,Tatyana,Randall

Woe is us! Only 7 days in a week and 36 rambler trips posted today (John D., if you see this, we hope you're finding it as humorous as we did).

Grant MacEwan Peak. Not great lighting on my part, but to show the lingering snow on surrounding peaks.
