A meter of new snow . Too much snow . The downs were at times spectacular .The ups in knee deep snow exhaustingly hard work. We paid the price for the ego powder.




Every morning starts with a safety meeting


Nearly all runs were below tree line. Posthumous , The glades and Burnt timber , were all skied when the visibility was poor , which was most of the time .

In the one brief hour of good visibility we went up Home run at the edge of the alpine with slabby grabby skiing in the wind affected snow and ego powder lower.

The food was a contest of cooking skills . One excellent meal after another .
