It was a great day for a foothills hike - 20 degrees warmer than the previous day! Highlights included lots of sun, no need to wear spikes, and a comfortable 45-minute lunch. Educational conversation topics ranged from Irish history to fat tire bikes to how to find owls. Thanks to everyone for coming out on short notice and welcome to Maija (second trip with the Ramblers). One device measured 16.5 km and 480m elevation gain, which included the spur trail to Kestrel and the longer return via Reconnect/Long Distance.
