No smoke, no hot weather, no rain, no wind. In other words,a perfect day for hiking. To make things even better, there was a bike race taking place that filled the Station Flats parking lot to overflowing and also kept most of the bikes off the trails that we were going to use.
After an easy hike along the Elbow Trail to Pneuma Trail and the up to the Sulphur Springs Trail, we arrived at the lunch spot about 12:15. We had a leisurely lunch while we took advantage of the clear skies to identify the ridges and mountain to the west.

On the way back, we took a break at Alastair’s Rocks before heading back to the parking lot by 2:45 PM.
